The Digital Sovereignty Alliance ("DSA," "we," "us," "our") is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing clear and ethical public policy, research, and education surrounding emerging technologies, including decentralized technologies, blockchain, cryptocurrency, Web3 innovations, and artificial intelligence. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes DSA's data collection and use practices. Please review this Policy carefully as it relates to your use of the DSA website, when you sign up for newsletters, attend our virtual or in-person events, make donations, and contact our staff. (collectively our "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this Policy.
For purposes of this Policy, "Personal Information" refers to information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to you such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number and date of birth.

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your Personal Information. You may make a verifiable consumer request for access or data deletion no more than twice within a 12-month period.

- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information or an authorized representative
- Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it
We will respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
We do not sell the Personal Information of our users. We do not share Personal Information with third parties for direct marketing purposes as defined in California's "Shine the Light" law.
